Each piece is one-of-one or small-batch handmade. Even when a maker repeats their own pattern, the fabric, the fit, and the small decisions vary each time, so no two garments are truly identical. That is the honest alternative to fast fashion - a top or a dress made to be worn for years, by the person who made it, rather than churned out by the thousand to wear out fast.

Is the clothing actually handmade, or factory-produced?
It is sewn by hand by the maker. SCRAPD hand-reviews every storefront before it can list, and factory garments resold as craft are rejected. A Handmade Clothing listing was cut and stitched by the person selling it.
Does handmade clothing have to be upcycled?
No. Handmade Clothing covers original garments sewn from new fabric, deadstock, or sourced material - the defining thing is that the maker made the garment by hand. If you are specifically after pieces rebuilt from existing garments, look at Second Story Fashion instead.
How do I choose a size when pieces are made by hand?
Check the description for the maker’s measurements - bust, waist, length, and more. Because garments are cut and sewn by hand, go by measurements rather than a generic label, and email hello@scrapd.app if they are missing or you are between sizes and we will ask the maker.
Can I order a garment in a custom size?
Often yes. Many clothing makers work piece by piece and take made-to-measure or custom requests. Email hello@scrapd.app and we will ask the maker about a custom size, length, or fabric before ordering.
How long until my order arrives?
SCRAPD currently ships within the United States. Some pieces are ready to ship and some are made to order - check the description to see which, and if it is not there, email hello@scrapd.app and we will ask the maker. The maker handles their own packing and dispatch.
I sew clothing - how do I sell on SCRAPD?
Apply for a storefront and a real person reviews it, usually within 72 hours. Your garments need to be genuinely sewn by hand by you - SCRAPD is built for makers, not resellers.
