Each piece is one-of-one or small-batch handmade. Because a plushie, a doll, or a puppet is sewn, stuffed, and finished by hand, every one has its own character - the face, the seams, the small choices vary each time. A handmade toy is made for a child or a collector, not for a warehouse shelf.

Handmade by the maker. SCRAPD hand-reviews every storefront before it can list, and factory toys resold as craft are rejected. A listing here was sewn, stuffed, or assembled by hand.
Are these toys suitable for young children?
It depends on the piece - some handmade plushies, dolls, and puppets are made as decorative or collector items rather than children’s toys. Check the listing for age guidance, and if you are buying for a young child, email hello@scrapd.app and we will ask the maker.
What materials are used, and how do I care for them?
Check the description for materials and care notes. Handmade toys often need gentle or spot cleaning - if anything is unclear, email hello@scrapd.app and we will ask the maker what went into the piece.
Can I order a custom toy, doll, or costume?
Often yes. Many makers here take custom requests because they work piece by piece. Email hello@scrapd.app and we will ask the maker about a custom design, color, or size.
Will the same toy be available again?
Toys here are one-of-one or small-batch. One-of-one pieces do not restock; for small-batch designs, a repeat may differ slightly because each is made by hand.
I make toys - how do I sell on SCRAPD?
Apply for a storefront and a real person reviews it, usually within 72 hours. Your work needs to be genuinely handmade by you; SCRAPD does not allow resold factory toys.
