Sherry’s Finds
Sherry Hewitt, the founder of SCRAPD, spends a lot of time hunting down secondhand and sustainable finds across the internet - pieces she genuinely likes but that are not for sale on SCRAPD. She shares them on the Sherry’s Finds pages, and some of those links are affiliate links that SCRAPD, the platform, participates in.
When you buy something through one of these links, the shop you bought from pays SCRAPD a small percentage of the sale. It costs you nothing extra - the price is the same either way. That commission helps keep the marketplace running.
SCRAPD participates in the affiliate programs of the shops and marketplaces where Sherry finds things - programs like the eBay Partner Network, Etsy’s affiliate program, and Amazon Associates. Where a specific program requires its own wording (as Amazon does), you will see that line in the disclosure on the post itself.
Every find links out to another shop, in a new tab. SCRAPD does not sell, stock, ship, or guarantee those items - your purchase, payment, and any returns happen entirely with the destination shop under its own terms.
When you click through, the destination site (or its affiliate network) may set a cookie in your browser so the shop knows the visit came from a SCRAPD link. Those cookies belong to the destination site, follow its privacy policy, and are how the commission gets credited. SCRAPD itself only records that a link was clicked - not who you are or what you buy.
