Clothing and accessories built around non-mainstream aesthetics - goth, punk, grunge, emo, dark academia, cottagecore, cyber, and the styles around them. What they share is that a maker made or reworked each piece by hand, not a factory line.
Is it handmade, or resold factory clothing?
Handmade or reworked by the maker. SCRAPD hand-reviews every storefront before it can list, and factory goods resold as craft are rejected. A listing here was made or altered by the person selling it.
How do I get the right fit when each piece is unique?
Each listing includes the maker’s measurements. Because these pieces are made and reworked by hand, read the stated measurements rather than relying on a label, and message the maker if you are between sizes.
Can I request a custom piece?
Often yes. Many alternative style makers work piece by piece and take custom requests - a custom size, color, or a specific rework. Reach out through the storefront to ask.
Will the same piece be available again?
These pieces are one-of-one or small-batch. One-of-one pieces do not restock; for small-batch designs, a repeat may differ slightly because each is made by hand.
I make alternative style - how do I sell on SCRAPD?
Apply for a storefront and a real person reviews it, usually within 72 hours. Your work needs to be genuinely handmade or reworked by you, not resold factory goods.
