Do you love the small, reptilian wildlife that make homes in your garden? This is a painting of a skink that came out to visit with me while I was working in mine. When I’m in my garden in spring, skinks, lizards, and even a salamander come out and about courting mates. One of the adult male skinks came right up to me and seemed to be posing for pictures.
All of the colors are handmade oil paints, and all colors except white are made from local and sustainably foraged Ozark rocks, clay, soot, or bone.
