Payouts
When and how you get paid as a creator.
The payout timeline at a glance
- Buyer pays
- Funds settle to the SCRAPD platform balance
- You ship the order and mark it shipped with tracking
- Buyer marks the order received (or it auto-delivers after 7 days)
- 10-day dispute window opens
- Day 10 after delivery: the payout cron releases funds
- Stripe pays your bank in T+2 business days
Total time from sale to bank: shipping time + a 10-day hold + 2 days for the Stripe payout. For a typical 5-day shipping window, that is around 17 days.
Why a hold at all?
The hold protects both sides. If a buyer disputes within 10 days of marking the order received, the funds are still on our platform and we can resolve the case before they leave. After 10 clean days, payout fires automatically.
How much you receive
Your commission rate is locked when your storefront is approved. Stripe also takes its standard processing fee (about 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). Your net payout is the item price minus our commission minus Stripe’s processing fee. Shipping you charged the buyer passes through to you in full.
Where to see your payouts
Open your dashboard, then the Stats section. You will see:
- Pending - orders still in the 10-day hold
- Available - cleared, awaiting the Stripe transfer
- Paid - already in your bank
